We are located May to October at Mikros Gialos in Rouda Bay, Lefkada. We do guides kayak tours and multiple day trips, SUP, and hikes all over Lefkas and Meganisi! You are a large group, just send us an email and we can tailor a trip based on your needs!

After an enjoyable 1/2day
kayakexcursion I felt motivated to learn more details about touring by Kayak. Fortunately Periplous experience could fullfill that wish.
Amazing how much we learnt in these few extra Kayak-lessons! Practicing with Yianni was sometimes challenging and always bringing us inner and outer highlights.
If you love nature and enjoy escaping from stress/noise for a couple of hours, book Periplous Experience and drive to there spot at Mikros Gialos, Lefkada - definitely worth it!

We had a brilliant half day kayak adventure to the blue cave and around the bay and beaches of Mikros Gialos. We were really lucky to be just one couple on the tour so had what was essentially a private trip and Yiannis was a tour guide of unparalleled expertise, charm and patience with our dodgy steering.
Highlights were stopping at a variety of tiny beaches, accessible only by boat, which also happened to be more or less empty on the day we went. Here we snorkelled to see yellow coral, red starfish and other marine creatures, nourished by iced coffees, fruit and biscuits. Also, the bat cave with its magical blue water and rare bat species - we didn’t manage to find Odysseus’ lost treasure (or Yiannis’ sunglasses) but it was an unforgettable experience.
Highly recommend for anyone in Lefkada who wants to see more of its stunning, unspoilt coastline and learn more about its history, mythology and sea life.

Giannis and Giorgos are of one the most professional and respectful guides I have met in Greece. They make sure that the guests feel comfortable, they take all the necessary safety measures and really make this sea kayak experience unique. We made many stops in caves and remote beaches, which you can not visit in an other way. This experience shows you the real hidden gems of Lefkada and takes you beyond the normal, usual touristic path when you visit Lefkada. So, if you want to really live a different experience, you have to do this sea kayak trip!

I wish I could give 10 out of 10.
The best experience on the whole island.
We booked a 4-hour tour with Giannis and everything simply exceeded our expectations.
Giannis is an amazing guide, a professional kayaker and full of amazing stories. He tells you about the geology,’the geography, the history and the sea life.
The Blue cave with its bat population is stunning. We saw plenty of starfish and other sea life. The tiny magical beaches simply take your breath away. Giannis was absolutely fantastic and we left with a feeling that we have met a new friend.

Can I give this 10 dots?! We have been in Lefkada for two and a half weeks so far and this was one of the best moments of our holiday.
My partner had never kayaked before and was a little nervous but before the trip we had a safety briefing and were feeling confident before we left.
Our guide or 'fellow traveller' Argie was absolutely fantastic, as a guide and as a person. We felt in safe hands all the time but also as if we were spending the morning with a friend. The trip itself included a trip to Sivota where we had about half an hour to walk around and two more beach stops, each about half an hour, where fruit and drinks were provided and you could swim. We also kayaked into a cave with a small beach. Due to Covid they don't bring snorkels to share at the moment but Argie allowed us to use his mask.
Yiannis, the other person we met from Periplous met us in the morning before our trip and also met us on the beach afterwards, both Argie and Yiannis were very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend having an adventure with Periplous whether you've kayaked before or not, or really is suitable for everyone.

The owner yannis was very professional and made us feel at home. He also suggested the restaurant “Ο Μώλος” to eat afterwards which was a success as well. The guide Argoris was also unbelievably kind, and also carried coffee, cookies and fruits with him. The trip was very fun, however you have to be somewhat strong in the arms.

This kayaking experience was incredible. It was one of the best, if not the best way to see and explore Lefkada island. The kayaking alone was amazing but the people running it really made it something special. Massive thanks to the very kind and welcoming owner Yannis and our jolly instructor (also) Yannis, who has a great singing voice, which in my book means he deserves a pay rise! 😉😁 I highly recommend the Periplous experience to anyone wanting to see the island from the sea as the places we visited were awe-inspiring, especially the hidden blue cave! Whether you are a beginner kayaker or not, definitely do the Periplous adventure. Thanks again to Yannis and Yannis!

We received a really good kajak tour despite we booked less than two days before. We were a bit late as we had problems with finding a taxi driver, but that wasn’t a problem for Periplous Experience. What we really liked about the tour was the kind and experienced guide and organizer. The tour guide Yanis mastered the small group very well and had conversations with all of the participants. We received good instructions and a lot information during the tour. Our experience was that you neither need to be experienced in kajaking neither need to be in special physical condition to habe a great day with this tour.

A superb way to spend a morning enjoying the beautiful scenery around Mikros Gialos. After a short briefing by the guides, we set off across the bay at around 930pm. With the gentle waters, kayaking is not too strenuous for those not experienced in water activities (we were a group of 6 ranging in age from 50+ to 14 and all coped well!). The guides, Yiannis and Rapha, were fantastic and great company for the trip. We visited a hidden blue cave, a couple of remote beaches only accessible by boat which were truly stunning. Nectarines and melons provided for a snack. We returned to the beach about 5 hours later so the whole trip is excellent value for money.

Yiannis made us feel comfortable from the start. He was able to tailor the experience to what we were comfortable with, one inexperienced and one experienced kayaker. Plenty of insights in to the islands and the surrounding areas. He took us to some lovely beaches for snorkeling and some amazing caves! I couldn't recommend the experience enough. Worth twice the price! Ps. Molos is a great restaurant to eat after!

Ciao , ho letto che l'escursione parte da Micros gialos, vorrei sapere se hanno uno stand nella spiaggia e quindi si può' decidere quando si arriva alla spiaggia oppure se bisogna contattarli prima e in tal caso dove si trova il loro ufficio/punto di ritrovo.
