Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

various hikes are proposed with a very good signage. we took the hike along the coast and enjoyed the wonderful open view. very quiet. good places for bathing. Good shoes are a requirement due to the boulders.

Over the years I have visited wide and far. Why it took me 50 years to find this gem of a gem less than a 2 hour drive north of Gothenburg I cannot understand. Think smooth smooth granite and gneis. Flowing like waves. Mix this with narrow crack and sreaks of quartz. There are a number of walkways with different lengths and levels of challenge. To top this of this nature reserve is right on the sea. Given the right time of year I highly recommend a swim. This is an outing extraordinaire.

Wonderful walks along the roaring ocean, it is as beautiful a windy and chilly day as in good weather, just very different

Easy to reach by a car on the bridge over the Sotekanalen. Don't miss this place when visiting Hunnebostrand! 🔆

This is a good place to see the beauty of the pink granite of Bohuslän. Accessible from a parking place, you can walk as far out west as you can.

Definitely a place to go visit. We were lucky as the cold weather had made small frozen 'skating rings'. Such an unexpected entertainment with the kids.

There are many candidates vying for the best coastal scenery in Bohuslän but this must be near the top of the list. It is not very far from Smögen and Hunnebostrand, although when you get there it feels quite remote. There are several established paths but keep a keen eye open for the markers or you will easily go astray. A tip is to take a photo of the map on one the information boards. There is one by the swing bridge over the Soten Canal that you must cross to get there.

If you love the sea, the wind and the sun, don't miss visiting one of the most amazing places on the Swedish west coast. Park your car and walk either to Grosshamn or, in my opinion the more exciting, Fykan. Enjoy the pink granite rocks both with your eyes and your body. To lay down on a rock that's been polished soft is a special experience. Even more so if the sun has made it warm. You need good shoes and to be able to walk and climb a little.
