A very nice man-made lake, turquoise colored and very large, in the middle of nowhere. Great to feel like in a western movie in such a dry and sunny lanscape. We had a one-hour quad tour with costablancaquadtours, located close to the embalse. Very well...More

This is a very nice lake to travel around by car or bike. You will have a nice scenary over the land and the lake. Just around the lake are nice farmlands and typical Spanish scenaries.

This is a great trip easily accessable from Costa Blanca South towns and villages. Plenty of places to stop off to enjoy the views and Or sun sets. It is worth stopping off at Casa Pedrera the Grand Design House, spectacular views and great cakes....More

Scenic views all the way around and a few spots to stop off and enjoy the sun rise/set. Have been fishing here a few times with my boys. Unfortunately some spots have become littered.

We were quite surprised by the size and colour of this reservoir as we drove around it on our way home. It is well worth stopping and taking in the panoramic scenery that it provides.

Scenic route around the lake, stopping off at Casa La Pedrera the Grand Design House is a must. So close to spanish villages yet feels so far away. Many bikers use this route as ideal for an early morning ride. Have taken several people here...More

It would be perfect for dog walking but unfortunately due to the litter and broken glass everywhere I would say it’s not safe for dogs. Smashed glass bottles it a big problem here.
