Nice hike! Doable, but does require some effort on the climb. 3.6 miles is a workout, but worth it! Beautiful cliff formations!

My husband and I really enjoyed this hike. We did have 2 small dogs and one large dog, on leash (which is required by law!!!) We'd read elsewhere a recommendation to do this trail counter clockwise - the opposite the park encourages via signage. I'm...More

This is a beautiful hike and well-worth it! We're in our mid-60's, but hike frequently and found the full loop quite manageable. It does call for precautions, though...... ---the 2.9 miles of the loop trail could take longer than you'd think. Don't start late in...More

We visited during spring break 2018. It was a beautiful day for March as we didn't need any coats. Obviously we didn't do our research but we thought this would be a relatively simple trek. In recent years I have become older and a couch...More

one of my favorite trails! It's challenging up and down the canyons along the streams. A couple of great lookout points as well. It took us 2 hours and we didn't really stop. It's a fun one

Wow! What a hike. We started on the high side and followed the map to the main look out point. The hike there was very mild. We even passed a family pushing a baby stroller. We then continued and made The Descent down and we...More

Enjoyed the 3mile loop. Signs claimed the route was flooded, however, the trail was very accessible and my daughters were most disappointed the waterfalls were pretty much dry. Still had a great trip, worth the hike to see the bluffs.

We visited the Little Grand Canyon -Illinois just outside Murphysboro Illinois. This is a nice trail to experience rugged hiking. Getting in and out of the Canyon is a challenge as you have to go down/up the same rocks/ route as the water flows. There...More

I was excited to make this hike, even in 90 degree heat. However, that excitement soon faded when my wife and I found ourselves a bit confused on where to go. We started the trail at the north end of the parking area, which began...More
