The personnel was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of very interesting information about the ride and the history of the canal. It was a worthwhile trip intended as an opportunity to see some fall colors but provided much more than that.

Way to short of a ride. Not very organized. We actually got stuck on a sandbar. Had to move everyone

This was our third Canal Boat Tour and we enjoyed it just as much as the other two. This time my wife and I brought a friend along who also enjoyed it very much. We highly recommend it, especially for anyone interested in Illinois history.

This was a fun way to learn history that nobody ever told us about. We really enjoyed the mule Skinner, the guide, and Larry the mule. A very enjoyable experience.

Guides were very informative and entertaining. The boat ride was pleasant and unique. They pack a lot in an hour. Well worth the ticket price.

The Visitor Center is on city streets and it would be hard to park there BUT the locks themselves are south of the downtown and have a lot of room for RVs etc. The canal boat itself is wonderful and has handicapped access... More
