Just a beautiful park for a short stroll or a place to spend a few hours with a camera for photos that will bring back memories for a long time

There are two times a year that a trip to Lilacia Park are worth the effort. The first is around Mother's Day when hundreds--thousands?--of lilacs are in bloom. Lombard prides itself on being the lilac town. The second time of year is around Christmas, when the park is decorated with lights. It is just as beautiful, and a lot more... More

What a beautiful park. The lights they put up for Christmas are amazing! It is also incredible when lilacs are in bloom. It is just lovely.

Small but beautiful park in downtown Lombard. Check out lilac or Christmas season for the best views.

Lilacia was a beautiful park that was also very close to a public library and train station. I'm not from the area so I didn't know the best places to park or start out walk but ended up parking on the street next to the library and it had easy access to the park. The park was in the process... More

A wonderful opportunity especially around mothers day when lilacs and tulips are in full bloom. Don't forget to see the annual parade.

This park serves as a centerpiece for the town of Lombard. It contains many varieties of Lilacs and other bushes. Well maintained and a good spot for strolling in the good weather days. Also immediately close to the train for commuters wishing to make a short trip.

Lilacia Park is the crown of Lombard's many parks. My wife and I walked through the park last week to see if they had any fall flowers. They had a few, but the time to visit the park is in May when they had hundreds of Lilac bushes in bloom. The scent is overwhelming! The lilac bushes are complemented by... More

You can't enjoy the month of May without experiencing lilacia Park. Pathways take you through 100s of barieties of lilacs, tulips and any number of soring posies. Take a moment by the pond. Find our mascot "rastus" the bronze deer. Stop in yhe gift shop on top of the hill and take plenty of deep breaths and pictures.

The spring and Christmas are the best times to visit here. When the lilac bushes bloom, you can see all the lilacs and tulips ...very pretty. At the Christmas holiday, the trees are all decorated and music plays as you walk through at your own pace. Other times of the year not much to see. My daughter had wedding pictures... More
