I have paddled through the marshes, hiked around the bogs, visited the zoo, and checked out the museum here, it is well worth the trip for any nature lover. The museum claims to have the best display of birds in Belarus, it is certainly an excellent collection however the numbers shake out. Kayaking through the preserve is fun, but I... More

Wanting to get out of Minsk and explore the countryside, I stayed in the reserve for a couple of days. English is rare but a few of the scientists and the veterinarian helped me overcome the language barrier, especially with the hotel menu. Moreover, it has... More

It is a shame but living in Belarus i didn't know we have it :( Very nice unique place where you can find the Nature as it is. Forests are in their virgin state as it could be if people wouldn't have... More

This large forest and wildlife park and river reserve, recognised by UNESCO in 1979, can be visited through a number of entrances. We drove 120 km north of Minsk on the M3, past Lagoysk recreation area (another beautiful natural area) and Khatyn, to the park headquarters where there is a museum about the park and walks through the forest. There... More
