A must stop for any Comic or Superhero fan. The museum is easy to locate with multiple signs, across the road from the Superman Statue. The museum has many rare movie, TV, comic, and collectibles on display. Their are many George- Christopher Reeves movie era props and some from the recent releases. The displays are somewhat scattered, but fun to... More

A lot of old superman stuff to wander around and look at. All kinds of souvenirs to shop for. Some stuff was a little pricey though like other similar attractions.

So I don't really have a Superman mania, but all in all this was a good stop. If you are really into Superman, you could probably spend a day here. For me, it was about a 45 min. stop. No matter, I totally enjoyed my visit. I did kind of blow thru it. I really liked talking with the owner,... More

I was in Metropolis for the celebration of life services for Noel Neill, the "Original Lois Lane" and stopped in Jim Hambrick's Super Museum. Hambrick collected an impressive array of Superman items including comic books, toys, television & movie memorabilia, costume, art and photographs from all eras spanning nearly 80 years of Superman. It is a must-see while in Metropolis.

Definitely a huge collection of Superman stuff! You won't be disappointed even if you're not a fan of him. Lots to see, informative and friendly staff.

Bear in mind that this is a small-town museum in the sense that you aren't going to be getting super-interactive technological presentations. It is quite literally a maze of rooms packed with 'stuff' from practically every era of the Superman saga (George, Christopher, Dean, Brandon, Henry... with a bit of Supergirl and Superboy thrown in for good measure). It is... More

A must stop in but leave your wallet in the car. I found prices to be high in the store. I didn't go in the Museum after spending time in the store I believe you would do a better volume if you lower the price to 1.00 for the tour more people would pass through those gates
