My 5 and 7 yr old boys were in absolute heaven! They got to climb inside all sorts of machines that JD makes for all sorts of professions. They did a scavenger hunt through the pavilion that forced them to read and not just stare at the plaques. They learned JD was a real person and how he started the... More

This place has very cool equipment on display and you can climb into the cabs and check out the controls and see how everything works on it. They also used to have a diesel engine on display with parts cut out of it so that you could see the inner workings. :) There are educational videos on the progress of... More

For free is very impressive. Nice displays and very helpful, interested staff. There is a store next door where you can spend the money you just saved.

You can't beat a place now a days that let you explore for free. We were immediately greeted at the door by a very kind and helpful volunteer. This place has so many vehicles the kids can climb on and in, and push buttons on the machines. Not only are they learning about farming and the equipment John Deere manufactures,... More

There is a ton to see and do at this little pavilion, you are able to get right on the machines, operate 3 simulators running an excavator or a crawler like you are in the actual machine. Other hands on diagrams are setup to help people unfamiliar with farming or forestry understand how things work!

Went in here with family and I would say it was interesting to see the various tractors and the things that they're working on to do. It was a really good get away from the business of the downtown area and it's free. Can't go wrong with free. With the interactions and more, I would say if you want to... More
