A stunning beach and very safe to swim with little in the way of rips or currents. A long walk from Tofo along the beach at low tide or a 15 min cab ride or even hire a quad bike and ride there.

It is easy to spend hours relaxing - reading and meditating - on this quiet beach. When we were visiting there were no more than 10 people on the beach, and a few well-kept dogs enjoying the beach.

Great stay at Barefoot in Barra, loved walking to Chill Bar for drinks and food: take a torch for the night walk home.

The best beach in Tofo, and one of the best we saw in Mozambique. There are lots of restaurants and lodges running along the beach yet it is very quite and peaceful.
