Overall it was OK. There were two real ales to choose from and a standard lunch menu. The sausages were not very nice. Sitting outside by the canal on a sunny day is a good option.

We called in for a couple during a trip on Foxfield light railway. The staff and proprietors were very friendly and attentive. Whilst we did not eat on this visit the food being served looked appetising so we will go back to try. Can't wait!

First time in the area and only had time for a quick pint sitting outside in the sun. First impression, great location, good range of food "a real pub" we will be back to conduct further sampling of the food and beer :)
