less then an hour away from Karakol, you will find these red rocks - one formation looks like the broken heart, the second - looks like the backs of seven bulls. A good place to stop to take some pictures. In the summer there are...More

We stayed in Jeti Oguz village for two nights in a wonderful bed and breakfast place right at the foot of the seven bulls rocks. The views are spectacular wherever you look with plenty of hiking opportunities from easy to very challenging. You can actually...More

The 7 bulls are a very neat geological formation and worth a short look but if you continue up the valley, it's amazing. We stopped at the 7 bulls for a few photos. We chose not to visit the people with golden eagles tethered to...More

Love staring at the canyon and meeting the locals - wonderful homes and also a place to ride horses. Just a magnificent place to get in touch with nature and stunning views all over the place. It rained unfortunately but still- just as beautiful.

We have seen Jeti Oguz most times of the year and it is always different. In spring and summer there are the flowers about and you can buy honey from locals along the road and in winter they look so different in the snow.
