Tinker Cottage is a meticulously maintained, beautiful, authentic Victorian home furnished with original pieces.Around every corner, there is something wonderful to see. Our guide Terry, was a font of information and stories and made our visit a true treat. There are three floors, and a few chairs are placed so you can sit from timeto time. I walk with a... More

Nice tour guide, small house and you cant go upstairs. But, if you have nothing else to do, go. It does have gorgeous carvings and such.

The Swiss Cottage itself was very interesting. The tour guide was OK but quiet. New maybe?? It was well worth the money we paid.

Be sure to find your way to the back entrance since apparently there's construction going on out front. The house is very dark as most houses were from this timeframe. The Tinker's story is interesting and it's amazing how many pieces are there from the original owners. The spiral staircase was my favorite feature.

Your guide makes a huge difference as the second time we went I knew more than she did about the history of the house and occupants. After my first visit it fueled some self-research on the Tinkers and their connection... More

This is s nice tourist spot, I guess, but I have no idea what it is all about. Several nice cottages but no one was around to explain it.

My daughter and I visited for the first time last October 2015 and just recently on March 19th of this year. The house is well maintained as if the family just stepped out the back door for a few minutes. Steve, the Executive Director, is very knowledgable, interesting to listen to, and makes the tour enjoyable. Last October, we did... More
