Great trail well maintained. The bridges were really cool my girls loved it. It's really close to things in Roscoe. The tail went for miles. We could have ridden all day but only rode for about 3 miles.

Quite and very scenic. Love riding our bikes on this trail. Pretty much level with a slight incline makes it great for beginners and for family fun

This is a good trail - a stop at the Stone Bridge is a good break. Hike down the stairs to the deck with all he history of the Stone Bridge

This trail is a good one to take nice walk or ride. It is pretty flat. The stone bridge has a lovely view from below. Make sure to walk down to the bottom. There is also a nice place to get a bite to eat and have a drink in Roscoe just off of it. Great trail for families.

We had lived a few blocks from the trail for 12 years, before we stumbled across it. We finally decided to take a walk, with our dogs, on a small street, across from our subdivision and wallah, there the trail was - much to our amazement. The trail is well maintained and you can easily stroll along, ride your bike,... More

Variety of scenery, a number of experiences to be had along the way. Lots of shade and a well manicured path that accommodates traffic in both directions. A nice bathroom and well for water at Roland-Olson go. There is a good stairway down to a viewing deck below the path that overlooks a hidden meadow.

This is a great trail, whether you're running, biking, waking the dog, or just taking a walk. This trail is safe and most users are courteous and conscientious. It is well cared for and connects with other trails that run from Roscoe to beyond Poplar Grove, to Harvard.

We live close by the Rockton Road trailhead so we ride on the trail a few times a week during spring, summer, and fall. The Winnebago County sections are gravel, Boone starts out nicely asphalted, but then it gets rough goings, lots of pot holes to dodge. If there is heavy leaf cover, you won't be able to avoid all... This is the most scenic trail in the Rockford area. I like how it is a wide limestone trail with much of it being shaded by trees. There is a scenic overlook of the Stone Bridge that makes for a nice rest stop off the trail. There are many restaurants/bars just off the trail that makes it simple to find... More
