This beach is quite small but delightful. There is a very steep descent to the beach along a road which is quite narrow in places. There is a small beach mainly shingle and to the right rock pools to explore when the tide is right....More

It is nice to experience the bay in many weathers but on our last visit the sun was shining and there were many people enjoying the opportunity to experience the view of the sea and some fresh air. There was a long distance swimmer ploughing...More

A real find close to Dover. Quiet, clean and a great picnic spot. Views across The Channel to France and access to the shore and cliffs all easily made.

Had a fantastic time, sunny and warm few hours here (19/9/17). Watched the ferries running in and out of Dover. Listening to the waves slowly crashing up the shingle beach, just idilic.

Yes but not along the seafront There are footpaths to get you up to the castle then it's a walk along the white cliffs. Then you can go down to the beach from the lighthouse. It's a fair few hours 2-3 there. And the same... More

Sorry but I do not know the Windsor Lodge. I am sure it will be lovely as St Margaret's is a beautiful place. It is quite hilly though so be prepared with good support shoes.

Hi. As others have suggested it's a bit of a long walk, but if you do like walking it's a scenic route and definate,y worth the view at the end.
