St Margaret's Bay Beach is a great spot to take the kids rock pooling while the dog runs around on the pebbly beach. There is parking just off the beach and a little cafe that does a fab coffee. There's also a pub/restaurant looking out...More

I love this very dramatic place, to stand under the white cliffs of Doveri if the tide will let you is a unique experience. Pity we could not get a table for lunch we were starving.

We have been at St Margaret Bay so many times throughout the year in all seasons. Great nearby walks. The cafe is open most of year and the Coastguard has great food.

Very nice place. This is well worth a visit, if you are in the area. A beautiful place for a walk but be careful because the tide comes in very quickly.

Steep chalk cliffs and amazing walk along the top either way between SMB and Dover. Good pubs around including the Zetland Arms a little further towards Deal at Kingsdown.

We were staying at the far end of the beach right under the cliffs at Sea Purse, a property once owned by Noel Coward, our host was awaiting an opportunity to swim the Channel. On a clear day there are great views across the channel...More

Dogs are allowed on the beach but not between 9am and 6pm between May and September. To be honest though this ‘rule’ does not appear hard and fast and you can expect it to be enforced only on busier dates. The pub allows... More
