Funk's Grove is a great place to take a break from driving. It's a small stop on the Route. There are colorful chairs to relax in. The small store sells maple sirup, honey, and a few Route 66 souvenirs. The people are always very friendly, too.

Stopped because of a road sign on Route 66. Very glad I did. Grade B syrup is getting hard to find. Tends to be darker and have more of a Maple flavor. Love it

We were traveling Rt. 66 from Chicago to OKC and made this a must see stop. We are serious waffle and pancake connoisseurs so we are naturally syrup lovers too. When we found out that there was a maple grove along the way- we were hooked. The sirup is absolutely amazing. I think my husband shed a single man tear... More

We stopped off here on our way up to Chicago via route 66. The nice lady in the shop gave us all a little taste and that was that. We left with 5 bottles in various sizes to take home for family, and for ourselves.

This is a quaint stop along Old Route 66 offering local, authentic, maple sirup and if at the right time of year you can see them making the sirup. Note, Sirup is not spelled incorrectly. When is is pure maple sirup with nothing added it can be spelled with the letter i. The shop sells the sirup along with other... More

Very neat tour to learn about the maple sirup. Loved the sirup shop that seeks their sirup. Love the maple cream on biscuits/toast. The maple candies are awesome and full of sugar. :-)

We drove through the old Funk's Grove community & then stopped at the Maple Sirup place. Nice, quiet place to sit & relax for a few minutes. The staff was very friendly & engaging as we browsed in the little store. We purchased a couple of books and yes, we purchased several bottles of maple sirup - a couple for... More
