A two-minute walk from the car park and you are behind a waterfall... quite a rare experience and good fun...

Super easily accessible from the ring road, nice walk around the falls and to a few other waterfalls. Most big tour groups only spend time at the big waterfall though the one at the other end is quite cool too. Free entry, tons of people....More

Everyone writes of the main waterfall that you can walk behind, and that is super cool, literally and figuratively. Bring rain gear as they say. But the real treat that nobody mentions, is the hidden waterfall that is at the end of the trail that...More

This is one of the only waterfalls you can walk behind - make it a stop on your travels! Be prepared with poncho or rain gear, as the spray ensures you get a "full experience". Be cautious as the pathway can be wet! It is...More

Terrific waterfall with a path behind it for a wet walk-through .... well worth it for the view! The smaller waterfalls to the left side are less interesting but still worth a walk to see. And the coffee stall out front is good value afterwards...More

Rent a car and drive toward this amazing waterfall and take in the 360' breathtaking views! Be careful of tourists that suddenly stop on the sides of the roads to take pictures.

Wear rain gear and solid hiking boots and walk behind this immense falls. Great area. Small children may not want to go, as its slippery and Iceland isn't known for their efforts to protect stupid tourists from falling :) Adjacent to the falls is a...More

What a pretty place. Three pretty waterfalls to see and a cute shop with actually interesting items in it. Well worth the time.

Can't be specific because I've never visited in those months, but in general be aware that the weather in Iceland can change literally in a matter of minutes or from one side of a hill to the other. In April we had sunshine... More

Hello, everyone! I have an overnight layover in Keflavik from 23:00 to 10:30. Is it possible to visit the falls overnight?

Response from Long N | Reviewed this property |
You can, it's only 1-2 hour drive from Keflavik. Depending on the weather you can drive at night and catch the sunrise at Seljalandsfoss.
