It might have been good... but it was closed for no reason during posted operating hours. Made a long journey to visit and was really disappointed to find no one there and locked doors! No posted sign or reason giving a reason for being closed....More
This is a brilliant museum. With another million pounds or so it would be a world beater. It is what it is and is still brilliant.

Popped in for a quick look around and ended up staying for well over an hour.
Get up close to a whole history of aircraft and even look inside.
Easy parking, photos are welcomed and the owners were lovely.

Can't answer all your questions, but it does have a coach park. There is the Merlin Cafe for coffee/tea and it has toilets. The RAF Museum is £2.50 for adults (don't know of any discounts). The Spitfire and Hurricane Museum... More
