Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Scary people there who run it. I hated the entire experience. I wanted to scream. Not a grain of salt on the property, freak out over a black cat, and you have to sign a hold and harmless.

My husband and I took my parents for a visit. We all love history and it did not disappoint! Very quiet and restful place outside for a great picnic. Bill was very knowledgeable and helpful inside the four story structure. We learned a lot about the mill and it’s history. Cute store and rustic cabins.

Visited on a Saturday during Quarantine, so the Mill and everything was closed. But the property is great! and the views of the Wildcat Creek/River are great. Looked around the property, then hiked the trail along the creek. Great social distancing, nice property. Will be back when the mill is open!

We took our two year old there and rented a cabin. He was easily entertained with the trails and water. We went on a little tubing adventure from the bridge back to camp and was a unforgettable moment. Also the locals that visited were really nice and let us know the best places for supplies and dinner that we wanted that wasn't cooked over a fire. We had a really good time and memorable family time.

Beautiful area, very nice area to picnic and have family gatherings. Covered bridge is very nice also. Went there to take senior prom photos. Fall is the most amazing time of year to visit.

Just a bit out of my way, but so worthwhile. It's interesting to watch the water wheel and walk through the covered bridge. Very peaceful, with a picnic area and numerous spots for photos. Kids will enjoy running around before you load them back into the car for their next adventure.
