This is a wonderfully-restored 19th Century opera house. Beautiful wood and ironwork. It is an intimate space for small performances. It features cabaret seating (tables for two or three) at the front, regular seating on the main floor, and balcony seating. We went to a...More

Small venue and you can see from anywhere you are seated. The Opera house has been renovated and is absolutely stunning. We have attended many events and will continue to do so. They have a good variety of affordable entertainment.

Restored to its former glory and enhanced by large restrooms, an elevator and concession lobby. We have seen comedians, guitarists, bands both acoustic and electric, programs with historical figures like Edgar Allen Poe and James Whitcomb Riley.

Tickets were just $25 and $15...More

We attended a wedding reception here recently. This building is older, but the inside renovations are beautiful. We explored several of the floors and were amazed at the newness of everything. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or other special event. The acoustics in the...More

We saw "Abraham Lincoln through Song" in February 2016. It was part of the newly restored Opera House's inaugural season that included Jeff Daniel's band. The restoration takes the Opera House back to its post-Civil War appearance, and is a triumph for this small community,...More
