I ❤️their caramels. I especially love the salted caramels without chocolate on them. They were not out when we were there yesterday, you need to ask for them because they were refrigerated. They offer a quick trip through their candy making section, see it being made, and free samples of chocolate and a caramel. Worth the exit off I-70. Located... More

This town is off the interstate about 15 minutes but it seems like fifty years. You expect to see Barney Fife and Opie walking together. This shop is fitting for that era although it is fully modern. This candy store has been around a long time and is very quaint inside and out, pink and attractive and inviting. Candy is delicious. Gal at counter very warm and friendly and helpful. U can view the candy making process from an open window and another glass window - was on Saturday so not much going on. A bit pricey... More

The owner greets you with a sample and a little background of the candy shop as soon as you arrive. Really nice guy and really delicious caramels.

Abbotts Candy Shop is located in Hagerstown, Indiana. It's a great mom and pop establishment that's been around since 1890 - handed down through generations.
