Be sure to visit this when you visit the Art Museum. Some rooms have been restored to the original paint and furniture, some to when the Lilly's bought it in the 1930s, and some left in the 1960s version. Each room has a picture showing...More

Home is of average old mansion interest. Grounds used to be open to public. Now one must pay an overpriced admission to the museum to see the grounds or Oldfields.

I prioritised a visit to Oldfields during my time at the Newfields art museum and enjoyed seeing the house. It did puzzle me how a water company official could afford to have it built in the first place... The house and gardens are very well...More

I want to preface this review with this disclaimer: this review is based solely on the Oldfields House and the surrounding Gardens. While I loved the Oldfields House, there wasn't much to engage my children (ages 1, 6, 8, and 11). They were thoroughly bored...More

The house and grounds are quite striking, the facility is well maintained. The art collection is well the time and money.

Senior couple. Interesting house tour - we like to see how people lived in earlier times. Walk on trails thru gardens were pleasant and interesting
