Waited my whole life to go. Watching on TV doesnt do it justice. Got there and its an assault on the senses....Almost 100degrees, cars roaring past at 230mph, beers, hot dogs, 3 or 4 hundred thousand people. Im absolutely addicted. The noise...the noise. Book it...More

Even if you’re not a race fan, the atmosphere will sweep you up! There is nothing to compare to the 300,000 strong crowds cheering the drivers on. Just be prepared for the heat and the long queues.

Traffic on Georgetown is awful. I recommend parking in one of the neighborhoods surrounding the speedway and walk in. It will be faster. Sense you already have a parking pass I recommend getting there no later than 8 am. 6am... More
