Salcey Forest is excellent for all ages, abilities and walking, with or without dogs, cycling, running, horse riding and kids adventures. We went recently with our dog and did the Pink/Woodpecker Walk - Very muddy in parts but worth the effort.

Shame, but I'm afraid no camping in Salcey Forest. Lovely place to visit though, especially the tree walk. Best to do that in spring or summer.
