Love the park

Love Madison and Clifty Falls State Park nice camp ground also. There is always a lot to do on the hill and down to the main town. Love looking at all the old buildings and homes.

My husband and I visit Madison every year for a night or two in November or December but had never stayed at Clifty Falls so we decided to try their 2 nights for the cost of 1 special. We were very pleasantly surprised at just how nice the rooms are and how lovely the view is of the river and... More

The falls were just awesome all trails well maintained all levels of difficulties even wheel chair accessible on some trails. I think it was the time of year as the water levels were low but it was a bit disappointing there was very little water going over the falls. A lovely drive through the trees though

We spent a few days here and did lots of hiking. We stayed at the inn and it was pleasant. It is quite clean and updated pretty much. We really enjoyed the seating / game area in the inn. The hiking was great and somewhat difficult which was enjoyable. My advice is to be sure to take trail 2 which... More

Clifty Falls is located on the outskirts of Madison, Indiana. This small town is full of charm with lots of old architecture situated right on the Ohio River. The Falls state park is very accommodating to outdoor hiking and picnicking. The falls themselves really need to have had some rain in order to see their true splendor. All in all,... More

We visited here Saturday morning to go for a hike, see the falls and enjoy the fall colors. The colors were not so great but the hikes here are always nice. The falls were running.

Clifty Falls is a cute parked tucked away in Madison, IN. We started on Trail 8 and immediately saw a beautiful German Shepherd/Labrador mix. I didn’t get his name, but he looked like a “Max” or a “Charlie”. Once we got a little deeper into the woods, we saw a tiny Teacup Yorkie running as fast as she could, trying... More
