Albanese is the company that order from online. I had to drive from Indy to Chicago for work and I saw the big billboard on I-65. I immediately told Google Maps to redirect me to Albanese. Upon entering, there is candy candy candy chocolate, more chocolate and more candy. I don't even know how to describe all the different kinds... More

This candy store is like an old fashioned store. They have been a filled with candy. The chocolate candy is in an area all by itself. They are very organized and efficient when waiting on you. The employees are very friendly.

See candy being made on the tours, find any candy you can imagine! There is an outlet of this factory just a few miles west.

My girlfriend and I stopped in to get a couple goodies for our friends and it was super busy since it was a Sunday. They saw the lines building up and opened two other cash registers on the other side of the shop to accommodate everybody.

Seriously--there's a chocolate fountain! I first stopped here years ago on the way back from a mission trip with my youth group kids, and what a hit! We stopped every year after that, and this year I got to take my parents on our way to Virginia. Basically any trip I take east of Wisconsin, my lunch stop is Merrillville,... More

Santa is there every December and kids usually get gummy bears after seeing Santa and getting pictures. Candy selection is very large and offers a good selection for gifts. Some retro candy too! Most people I know go at least once or twice a year for parties, birthdays, wedding candy bars/favors or gifts for co-Worker's or holidays.

If you are in the area this is a must if you have children of all ages or just a fun treat for adults. We use their gummy bears when I worked at Baskin Robbins. I'm not a gummy bear fan but my friend kept telling me to try one and I was hooked. They are so soft and so... More

This place is great. Just a few minutes off I65 this place is worth a stop if you have a sweet tooth. Lots of restaurants nearby if you want to combine this with a lunch stop when on the road. Lots of variety here and friendly staff. Can get pretty busy at times.

We saw a billboard and read some reviews on TripAdvisor, so we decided to check it out. Wowsers! What a place. Huge variety of candies. Anything you could possibly want. The bulk buying is the way to go. Also, a great peek into the factory. Great prices. We have nothing like this where we are from. Kids loved it. What... More
