Decided to try this winery for the first time. The staff were nice however you couldn’t really ask about the wines since it was so busy. They offer animal crackers to clean your palette and purse hooks for the ladies. You get 6 pours for...More

We were warmly greeted immediately upon entering the winery. We decided to do the sample of six wines for $10. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the wines. While not terrible by any means they definitely weren’t worth the price in our opinion.

CJS: Thank you for stopping in and commenting on our friendly staff. I'm curious what type of wines you were tasting; dry red, dry white, sweet? Thanks Tim Anderson

Shady Creek winery was a very pleasant diversion from our drive through MI to Wi. Wines were delicious and the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Stopped here on our way to Michigan City. Cozy place. Knowledgeable pourers. We loved most of the wine. We were also able to enjoy some of the flatbreads and salad.

Very enjoyable stop. Not quite as sweet of wine as I really enjoy drinking but very good wine. The guy who served our tasting was very knowledgeable and nice to talk to.

Sorry, I don't recall the rule regarding age for admittance. And I don't remember if I saw any children there. It seems to me that they might accommodate. I would check their website.
