Amazing pole barn in a country setting where you can relax by a beautiful stone fireplace with a glass of wine in the cold months. And in the summer there is plenty enough outside sitting around the barn or by the little pond. And if...More

You might have to have a little sense of humor about the wines...They're getting better, but still not outstanding quality. Six bucks a glass, bottle prices are pretty good, You can get an excellent cheese plate for ten dollars, or a sampling of sausages and...More

The winery has great food and a wonderful selection of their very own wines. It is nice to sit outside on the patio, in the back by the pond with all the dragonflies or in any of the rooms inside which create an element of...More

I have been there for a community function and was supposed to get two free glasses of wine with our tickets, but only received one. Disappointed about that. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wine is average, although I am not a wine expert. Very nice...More

So we host many fundraising events to 'do good' within the community. This particular organizer advertised an incorrect number of glasses of wine for the event, not the fault of the winery! As this reviewer confesses that 'I am not a wine expert', not sure...More

Visited Shady Creek with friends for the 5.00 for 5 tastes. The little place is quaint and staff friendly. They get their grapes from California after 1st fermentation and then make their own blends. Fun visit, however we did not purchase any wine.

We recently spent a night at Shady Creek for a private wedding. The space is beautiful, and they let us put up our own decorations shortly before the reception began. The only quams I have are that the building could have been finished nicer, and...More

I wanted to come and taste a few wines and pick some up on a Sat afternoon, but I have 2 kids. Can they come and just sit quietly at the table or do you have to be 21 to even go in?

Sorry, I don't recall the rule regarding age for admittance. And I don't remember if I saw any children there. It seems to me that they might accommodate. I would check their website.
