The museum itself looks like a house so we were not sure if we could go inside. We wandered up and a friendly man let us in. There were books, native art and other artifacts inside from the town before it was burned down (at the end of the war of 1812). Donations accepted but no fee to get in.... More

The library hosts a large collection of Native History especially on the peoples of who settled in "Moraviantown" - the Delaware Nation Moravian of the Thames aka the Lunaapeew people's.

Small cosy building with a good display of the history of the Delaware people and the Moravian missionaries who brought them to Upper Canada. The War of 1812 battle re-enactment was a triumph for local historians. Well done C-K and enactors!
