Renowned for its rich athletic tradition, the university is a beautiful place to visit, with such religious attractions as the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the park-like setting of its huge stadium and the abundant artwork.

Kids had a blast there. Loved seeing the buildings and playing on the official ice of NOTRE DAME. Just lots of construction

Spent a good 2 hours walking this campus for the first time, and it was everything I had heard about. The architecture is stunning, and it was nice to walk through and watch some of the students in their everyday activities. Truly special place.

ND is one of the top 5-7 campuses I've visited to date. The top of the Golden Dome is spectacular day or night along with the lakefront views behind the castle. You will need a map if you are not a student because many of the buildings look alike.

The photography exhibit was nice. We especially enjoyed visiting with the Iranian students. Parking on campus is limited and there are no signs directing visitors to parking.

The arena is a place of history and they show it off well. They have a gigantic display for each sport with the teams and individual athletes featured. The arena is beautiful and the staff there is so nice and friendly. Welcome to Notre Dame.

Took my daughter for the official campus tour at Notre Dame in Feb. 2017. Wow, what an impressive place! Tour started with about a 1 hour presentation from a rep at their Admissions Dept. $50,000 a year for tuition and estimate of approx. $67,000+ a year for total costs. Not for the faint of heart..... We then broke out into... More

During a recent basketball tour we pulled into South Bend on a trip down I-90 from Chicago to Cleveland and it was well worth the 3 hours we spent there in -18 (celcius) temperatures we experienced. South Bend is the home of the University of Notre Dame. Being a basketball fan I knew it was the home of the Fighting... More

Do not....I repeat DO NOT go to South Bend without a visit to Notre Dame campus! It's a lot of walking so try and go in the spring, summer or fall. You can even buy a meal in one of the dinning halls ( ND is voted #1 for their dinning hall meals). Check out the Grotto, The Church, The... More

Love the old architecture and the history of this great school. Used to live, almost, across the street from it. Had a few good times there in the past.
