We didn't actually go into the nature center but the Celery Bog Nature Area is a great place to hike. If you are into bird watching it's a good place to see all kinds of water fowl. We saw lots of wood ducks and all kinds of warblers.

The Lilly Nature Center is a fun and FREE family activity! We love exploring all the parks in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area. This one is a hidden gem among Purdue's residential living area. The best part is all the animals surrounding the center that live off of the celery bog. The nature center has so many different activities to explore... More

Come, sit and rest in the glass fronted viewing area where small animals and birds come to feast. You will want to build one at your own home. This building on the edge of a noted bog is a first class experience, with or without children. You will learn about the area from the time of the glaciers up to... More

We visited here while visiting our daughter at Purdue . . . once in the summer, and once in December .. . both times were delightful. There are many very easy trails through the woods and the bird-watching is excellent . . . we saw so many different species . . in the woods and on the water .. .... More

Over the years I have been there on many occasions and for different programs and events. The trails are interesting, and the displays in the building are a tremendous help in understanding the ecology of the "Celery Bog".

Lovely trail through the woods on several intersecting paths. Lots of birds, including blue herons, ducks, geese, and other water fowl. Definitely would recommend for a nice outing with friends or family. It's right in town but has a wild feel to it.

Nice trails through the woods and out to the marsh. I wish I had brought mosquito repellent...next time.

I would suggest not going right after it has rained. The trails were very muddy. But, other than that, it's a beautiful trail and great for walking. I would like for there to be more information outside, but I think they have adequate information from the nature center. It's nice to see someone promote the beauty of the bog!
