Quiet beach

What a beautiful quiet beach to take the dogs for a run. Such clean sand and toilets available too. Great spot!

The locals probably want to keep this place a secret. White sand and a postcard setting complete with boats bobbing in the bay. Staying at a very guest house (expensive) but what a outlook. You need a car here..Shops are a fair distance. Great walks. Very nicely maintained amenities.

Callala has great white sandy beaches and being on the bay the waves are small and so the beaches area really safe for small children. Not over developed, so good for a quite holiday, no resorts or large crowds

We visited with friends and between us had 4 small dogs. Off leash is after 4pm. Plenty of beach to walk them and throw a ball. Small waves given the bay protection which the puppies seem to like. You can take a ferry to Huskisson at the southern end.

The beach was very long and sand was white. Dogs can be off leash after 4pm. It's not very crowded like Bondi beach so the walk was enjoyable!

What a fabulous beach for swimming. Expansive white beach in both directions with lots of shallow water without strong currents.

Great beach for young kids as it's shallow and still. Beautiful clear water and away from the crowds.

We stayed here along the Shoalhaven coast for the first time and have been incredibly impressed with Callala Beach. The water is great for swimming, amazing for fishing off the sand and the beach itself is white and goes for miles. Great for families and incredibly quiet. Feels like you have the place to yourself.
