Beautiful small conservatory in a lovely city park. The Grand Allee and duck/geese pond are lovely for strolling. Hosta Glade has a large collection of unusual hostas and companion plants. The Conservatory is now free. It is a perfect place to visit when you need a breath of spring during the cold Midwest winters or a quiet oasis. The fountain... More

Nice little gem in middle of town. Nice circular walking path with old homes surrounding. Great back in time feel. Greenhouse small but nicely presented. Has annual plant sale. Parking somewhat limited. Used constantly by locals.

This park is simply exquisite. Geese and ducks abound in the lagoon, and there are benches galore and a wonderful spot for children to play. If you walk - which I do - it's a terrific place to put in one or two miles, all surrounded by gorgeous flowers in the summer - there's a rose garden and a botanical... More

As close as you can get to "Central Park" but in the quad cities. Nice green areas, a duck pond (with a couple of geese) and a small botanical area which is open to the public. Note that the Botanical center is closed on Mondays; otherwise open Tue-Sunday from 10:00 AM.

An oasis in Davenport. It is the heart of the city and great to see the community taking advantage of all that the park has to offer

This was a place we thought we might wait until we visit in spring, but we went anyway. The conservatory was decorated for Christmas and had every type of poinsettias imaginable. Can't wait until spring when we can see more of the park.

We visited the park and conservatory off season this fall while passing through town. The quiet time of year allowed the conservatory staff to hang Christmas lights and wreaths and they had on display multiple varieties of poinsettias for terrific seasonal color. Outside, the resident duck flock surrounded my wife as she was taking their picture, as they are trained... More

Lovely park for a little wedding. The greenhouse is beautiful outside and in. Great place to walk your dogs in the city.
