Quiet location

Beautiful spot near city, quiet. Very nice location away from bustle of town but still close. Some areas flooded when we visited but was still quite beautiful and quiet!

We were hoping for a nice park experience for our 3 year old but did not find it here. The facilities have not been well maintained and we did not bother to spend more than 15 minutes in the park. Find something else to do with your time than to come here.

Credit Island was a trading post for American Indians who paid for goods with beaver pelts. There is a nice art installation there and a recreational area. Great place to Bike around and see when in the area.

Enjoyed the park. The statues near the entrance were a nice touch. Nice place to observe and enjoy wildlife. Plenty of opportunities for photographers.

I've been going to Credit Island since I was a kid. It hasn't changed much, over all. Take your mosquito repellent.

I remember going to this park as I was growing up in Davenport. I moved away some 40 years ago and have been back many times but this year I revisited credit Island. The city has done a fantastic job updated and upgraded this park. Congratulations!!!

40 years ago when I first started taking my children to Credit Island it was pretty rustic and primitive. My brother in law made up a story about the Mississippi River valley monsters coming up to Credit Island during the full moon to play poker on the beach. We had a lot fun trying to spot them. Today the City... More

Credit Island is a pleasure to experience. It offers an opportunity to be with nature in many ways. The bird species living on the island is vast, there are picnic areas, playgrounds, and it is connected to the River City trail system with a walkway. The island offers an easy 3 mile walk and has an additional natural surface trail.... More

We will definitely be returning this summer. Never did see the sculptures like in the photos but did see an eagle flying around and snatching up some lunch out of the water. Will be hoping to catch some fish there myself this summer!
