An imposing edifice with much to explore but there are no guides who can brief us about the history. Though some efforts are being made to restore it , a lot still needs to be done. The moat around the castle is impressive

Lovely fort, worth the walk to the far side. Spent a lovely day here and hope to return. Not many places to stay in Chikhaldara but the Devi Guru is ok, very friendly staff and nice food. Rooms large and clean.
