My friends and I attended Zoo Brew at the Blank Park Zoo, an adult event where you could try different kinds of beer and purchase them. A band was playing too. People can visit the zoo during this time. There weren't any tables or chairs by the band but many listened to them. It's a good event for adults only.... More

It is not very big, but it is well laid out & nice. It is clear that everyone takes pride in presenting a good zoo; I saw someone wiping off an animal description sign. Baby Rhino stole the show !! Wished there were more amenities open, but I understand that this is a slow time for the zoo & money... More

The baby Rhino was a hit with me. The loan program is amazing. I have always enjoyed the zoo now celebrating 50 years. It is growing with exhibits and activities for all to enjoy. The cats the sea lions giraffes the monkeys. I like the indoor bird exhibits with the rain forest. An enjoyable walk thru the exhibits but also... More

Our family always enjoys visiting Blank Park Zoo for Night Eyes. It's really fun seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes and also getting a little candy from all the sponsor stations. Don't expect to see all the animals this time of year. Only about half of them are on display. We enjoyed seeing the goats (petting zoo... More

Smaller than I expected, but good displays perfect for younger children. Monkeys and giraffes were interesting and entertaining. Sea lions are the stars; housed in a nice venue that provides clear views of these playful creatures. Not in the most convenient !ocation, it would be a bit difficult to find without Google Maps (or similar). Go in the morning and enjoy... More

We took a granddaughter for a visit this summer and had a wonderful day. This zoo is a great size for kids. Lots ro do and see, but not overwhelming. And they just announced their newest arrival -- baby black rhino!

We went to the zoo during fall, which we've never done before, but thought it would be a good few hours for my toddler. It was decorated beautifully - so Halloween/fall like. The girl at the front desk that helped us was so passionate about her job, and told us all about the giraffes. It was a wonderful few hours... More

I took my sons to the zoo once a year when they were little, and I appreciated the size of it. It's perfect for a half day of wandering and learning without overwhelming anyone. Our favorite past exhibit? The one about poop. They're in college now, but they still talk about that exhibit.

My daughter and I really enjoyed or visit to the zoo! She loved feeding the giraffe and visiting with the tortoise training staff while they were working with the tortoises. Great people who love the animals. We will be back!
