There used to be two greyhound race tracks in Wisconsin not far from where I live; both have been closed for at least 20 years. So, this was a trip that was partially down memory lane. The Iowa Greyhound Park is attached to a casino...More

We love watching the dogs race. Actually, we have had two rescued Greyhounds as pets! The facility was comfortable, the staff very friendly and the food reasonably priced. A great afternoon.

Friendly para-mutuals . Clean and adjacent to casino gambling. A family day, or an evening out. Make this one stop on your tour of Dubuque.

Had a great time at the greyhound track. We were able to bring in pizza and beer from the casino. Of course I didn't win anything, but the races are very exciting. Highly recommend this.

Very convenient to our hotel and the entertainment of watching the dogs run made the night fly by. Track staff had great patience for inexperienced betters. Just wish we had more time to spend watching the dogs run.

I believe the racing season runs from late spring to mid-October. There is a greyhound racing website that you can visit for details.
