I play golf all over the world and Amana is a gem. Where else can you play the third set of tees with a slope of 142. Tough side hills, sloping greens. Tight fairways but not too long. Deer next to you. It was in...More

This is a great visual experience, lots of elevation changes with each hole surrounded by woods no parallel fairways. The staff are very friendly and the rates are great value.

Beautiful golf course, and a very difficult challenge to play, but it was worth it. I would love to try again when it's not 90 degrees with 100% humidity though. I think the autumn would be fantastic. Definitely ups the handicap! Amenities are very well...More

The only reason I don't give five stars is because of the bugs on this course. They will eat you alive. I didn't have bug spray. Fortunately my playing partner did. Otherwise wouldn't have been able to finish. The course is quite hilly making it...More

Definely one of the better courses in Eastern Iowa. Nice tight fairways in a scenic setting. Bent grass, lots of trees.
