A great little museum - had a wonderful 10 minute talk from one of the ladies working there who explained a bit about Lucy Maud’s history in Cavendish and in the house. A must stop for Anne fans!

This is a great place to visit if you have read any of L M Montgomery books about Anne Shirley's adventures. Anne of Green Gables was based on this house.

It's about a 10 mile span from Lucy Maud Montgomery's birthplace to her grave with museums and interesting sites in between or nearby. The birthplace is nicely preserved and probably a stop that isn't on the typical bus tour.
