Best historical stop in the area - good displays including animatronic Leeis, Clark and Jefferson. Very friendly staff FREE admission - next door to Iowa welcome center - clean restrooms. Missing the big picture, but a Staff member happily filled in the blanks. This was very Iowa centric, but We picked up a brochure that helped , and made for interesting travel talk.

Very interesting history and art work. Beautiful facility on the River. Wish weather would have allowed us to walk the trails around the center. Don't miss.

There are not many things for toddlers. Some exhibits have "Do not touch" signs. I would think that toddlers would not do well there.
