The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is interesting and educational for all ages. My students were impressed with the animated life-sized figures of Lewis, Clark, and Seaman the dog. Admission is a free will donation and plenty of parking is available. It's located by the river and adjacent to a public park with a picnic shelter and playground.

good exhibits and even animated figures. Pretty spot and nice architecture suggesting a keel boat. And did I say free?

Any history seeker of Lewis and Clark information should stop here! This center has a very good amount of information about the explorations of their team. This is a great stop for either traveling either direction, west to the headwaters in Montana or to the tail waters in Missouri.

This appears to be a fairly new building and if you are a history buff then this place is for you. Very well lit inside and everything very clean. Is not real large, so unless your going to read everything in there you can be in and out in a short time. Beautiful grounds with seating outside to enjoy it.

We were traveling through the area. Felt we must visit this attraction. We live in St. Charles, Missouri which is the kick off spot for the Lewis & Clark Expedition. It was interesting to see that they have a Lewis and Clark statue much like the one in St. Charles, Missouri. The building and grounds are very attractive from the... More

Great place for family and kids or anyone who love history. It goes into detail of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and related it to the Siouxland area.
