Pretty amazing place. The time it must have taken design and build. Rocks and shells from all over the world. Wondered around taking photos for a couple hours. Glad we stopped.

The Grotto is one of the most beautiful places you can go and see. My family loved it, we had so much fun...we will try hard to go back next year. It's a must see! 😊

We visited the Grotto of the Redemption with our four year old granddaughter. We were all in awe of the beauty of the structure. Our granddaughter enjoyed exploring the stairs and rooms. I had visited as an older teenager and remember being very impressed by the tour and the story of the man who built the structure. If you are... More

We drove to West Bend to see the Grotto as we had many friends tell us how beautiful it was. We were not disappointed. A priest dedicated his life to making the grotto depicting the story of Christ and other Biblical scenes all out of natural gem stones! The gems are brilliant and what an artistic mind it took to... The grotto is beautiful. You find yourself imagining what it was like to construct the grotto over many, many years. You also get a sense of what inspired artists can create over time. Museum is good, and the grounds are beautiful, with swans in the small lake, and places to sit and contemplate.

Took a day trip to visit this incredible place. The tour guide was wonderful and you should take a tour to get all the details of the structure and its history. Convenient lunch spot across the street and interesting museum. So glad I took the time to visit this inspiring creation!

It is not a huge place but well worth the drive to go. The amount of work it to is phenomenal. Tours are available but I did not take that. Very serene and calming. Beautiful in every aspect. Free will donation (they recommend $8) is the charge to get in. Playground equipment very close by.
