    Only one Queen though
So my birthday venue was Teapot Island this year. I'd been wanting to visit for several years, and this Sunday was the right time. We were here for 11.30, having booked a table in advance. Good plan, as it steadily filled while we waited for brekkie. I really wanted the pancakes. Unfortunately, it was taken off the menu apparently because it was so busy. Shame. There were all manner of people visiting this day. Groups for Dads Day, families, couples older and younger. Small boats, paddle boarders, and kids and ponies enjoying the river. There is a very sizeable recreation paddock over this river where you can park for a flat rate of 4£ at the time of review. This was being used by many groups for fun food and frivolity. The teapot museum was 3£ each to enter and was fabulous! Hubby got board but persevered for me, and I looked at every 8,500 of the awesome teapots! What a very worthwhile place to celebrate and take in something completely out of whack. Awesome! I seriously felt for you all when I saw how far up your property that 2013 flood came to. But you obviously made it beautiful again. Well done, guys.

A bit disappointed with cafe area and food
Such a beautiful setting and garden area but I do feel that the cafe itself needed some love and attention, could be so nice with just a few tweaks. We also didn’t like that fact that the man that served behind the counter kept sitting at the bench just outside the cafe smoking as we could smell the smoke. The food wasn’t very well presented, all in all we felt like the usual staff must have been off today what with going by other peoples reviews.

    Overpriced, adequate food.
Bit of lunch here after a morning paddleboarding and canoeing on the Medway. Okay, so 2 lots of ham, egg and chips at £12.95 each, and 2 lots of jacket potato with Chili at £8.95 each. The food was alright, but we thought it was overpriced. The ham appeared to be pre-sliced supermarket produce, and the chili was in a pot on the side, quite small and fairly bland. With drinks, the bill was nearly £60.

We just spent the last three days exploring Kent and on our way back to London we thought we would check out Teapot Island. When we first walked in we got the impression that it was just a cafe with a small room to the side that had teapots in it. After checking with the lady in the cafe she told us for 2 pound 50 we could see the display, take our time and take photos. OMG this place is crazy! Filled floor to ceiling with every size and shape of teapot you could imagine. We literally spent an hour oohing and awwing. Totally worth it. Highly Recommend if you are in the area.

Had a lovely cooked breakfast here. Very friendly staff. Loved looking at all the teapots. We had a long walk along the river and returned for ice cream. Great big play area for children.

Came for our third visit to teapot island, can’t fault the place. Clean and tidy, such friendly and welcoming staff and really lovely food and drinks. We stayed for ages and ate and drank away! Will be back soon :)

We went to Teapot island to have lunch in the cafe. Our meals were cooked to order and very enjoyable. All meals on the menu were reasonably priced. While we were eating our food. Two young children were enjoying paint some plain white pits. I’ve seen this before and the children really enjoy this activity. The tea pot museum is small but interesting. Pots of all shapes and sizes were displayed and in the shop attached to the museum you can buy them. The area has some lovely scenic walks. A nice place to stop and look around for a couple of hours.

Over 8200 teapots to look at, admission very good value, too many teapots to take in, you name it they've got one. I think the Guiness one was my favourite

We took the children here 2-4 year olds, for a mornings play, snack and walk round to the weir.
The play area is good for the children, we bought snack and got drinks from the cafe where the staff were very friendly. They were serving full breakfasts as well as bacon sandwiches, everything looked and smelt delicious.

We visited teapot island cafe Sunday morning and had a superb full English and a vegetarian breakfast. As the weather was lovely we sat outside and the waitresses were more than helpful with getting us condiments etc. Will definitely be visiting here again. We didn’t visit the teapots but there is a little play area for little ones and to sit by the river on a lovely morning is an added bonus. Would highly recommend. We parked on the road just passed the boatyard with no problem.
