My wife and I took a trip up to this place with a local tour guide. The falls offer a stunningly refreshing swim and bathe! Was really awesome- more people should know about this!

We hiked up the road out of Mooretown until we reached the falls (45 min?). It was a beautiful secluded spot to swim and relax.

Nanny Falls, named after the Maroon woman who led escaping slaves to freedom in the mountains, is accesible from Port Antonio. In Port Antonio, go to William Street and catch a taxi up to Mooretown. Beautiful mountain ride. 45 min. Take taxi to last stop....More

Book through Melrose Cabins or Tropical Video Tours 876-544-7397, interesting package and they do Kingston transfers.
