Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You're lost within the nature. Easy trail .. you feel relax and amazing views: the blue sky, different kind of trees, excellent weather.. to try it absolutely. It's 7 in trail you can easily finalized in less than 3 hours. But be careful after the 4th km not to lose the trail since apparently the signals are not clear ... we were lost and apparently others had too...!!!

Stunning 7km walk . Various scenery . Peaceful and very well sign posted . It’s marked as easy . Although it’s not moderate I would say it’s an easy + . You don’t need hiking boots but definitely sensible foot ware. The trail can get rocky and thin wouldn’t recommended to anyone with young children or walking difficulty. Really enjoyed our quite time taking our time round . If you have time dint do a group tour hire a car and enjoy the area

A mostly flat trail that crosses three microbiomes—open mountain face, black pine forest, and a mixed alpine forest. We lost the trail at the end but were able to make it back to our starting point using the road. Very simple and easily walked route. Took us about 2 1/2 hours walking at a brisk clip. Recommended!

Lovely, fresh mountain air and a terrific circular walk of 7km around Mount Olympus. No need for walking shoes but maybe not flip flops. The trail is easy to follow. I only had one brief moment of uncertainty - walking clockwise, arriving at the second ski lift, the trail wasn’t all that clear but walk towards and behind the ski lift and the trail quickly became easy to follow.

The starting point is 300 metres from Chionistra. Difficulty 1, and we managed to cover it in approx. 3 hours. (Easy enough)
On the way, we loved the black pine trees and the rare types of flora we came across. The trail is circular around the Olympus peak Mountain at an altitude of 1850 metres. The view from up there is awesome towards all directions. Highly recommended to start early if it is summer!

Trail leads you around the summit of Mt. Olympus on a mostly flat and easy to walk, 7 km long circular path.
Signing is generally good, except for the ski lift station where I initially got lost and had to retrace.
You can start the hike from the designated parking lot or from Troodos village, which will add another 2 km to your hike.

We parked in the car park and walked for a few 100 metres before looking at the map (well, small pamphlet, in Greek, that we had picked up from Troodos Visito Centre) and realising we had gone the wrong way. We returned to the car park and found that there was a big artemis trail display and a bench that marked the actual start, and from then on it was a straightforward and pleasant 7km walk.

From the car park we followed the 1st trail sign which takes you anti-clockwise however this is the opposite way to which you should walk the route. We found this an easy walk, generally on the level, yes there are a couple of parts where there is a drop off but these are minor and don’t let this put you off. The trail is well worn and easy to follow, you don’t need to down load any route software , there is a free route from google that someone has provided if you need it but you shouldn’t , just search Artemis trail google my maps and save it to your phone, but we didn’t need it. We walked it in late September and it was about 20 degrees when we set out at 10:00, the walk is a mixture of walking through pine forest and open paths, plenty of places to stop and take in the views , just remember to take plenty of water. We took 2 hrs 20 mins to complete the walk, including multiple stops so probably less then a two hrs of actual walking.

היי. מבחינת מזג אוויר האם כדאי לבקר ב TROODOS בפסח? - בערך 22/04/19. מה עם סידורי לינה שם?

Hi, What footwear and clothing would be recommended for a late March trip onto this trail?
Written 13 March 2015
Trainers with good grip or hiking boots. I went twice with trainers. Since it's the highest trail in altitude you definitely need a top above the tshirt especially if you are not planning to go in the summer. You may need a coat too. Do a weather check before going. If it has snowed and there is still snow up there I would definitely stay away because the path is very narrow and on the edge of the cliff at some parts. The best and safest time to go is between April and October.
