Very nice museum easily seen in a couple hours. We went especially for an exhibit called "Big Botany," seemingly drawn mostly from the museum's own collection. Very impressive! A quick glance at the rest of the place showed a variety worth going back to see.

This was my first trip to the Spencer Museum of Art following the extensive renovation. It is beautiful! And such a nice collection. The current exhibition, Big Botany, was intriguing. A very good way to spend an afternoon.

We love going to this art museum. And it's even better after the recent remodel. Parking and access are good.

The quilt exhibit we enjoyed there was themed around the struggles of black Americans to be a part of society. It was very thought-provoking and there were some very well designed quilts.

This is the KU museum, but it seems much bigger and better than other university museums. This has fantastic art year round, with new and exciting exhibits often.
