Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great museum. I'm not a big car buff but liked seeing the different cars. The sinkhole part was unexpected & interesting.

What an amazing place! Even if you don’t own a Corvette, which we don’t sadly, it’s full of history of this fabulous car and the wonderful models that have come out of the company. We spent hours looking and it was time well spent. I even bought a T shirt 😆

I stopped here because others recommended it! I figured it was just another car museum, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was great! I wish I had time to tour the factory!

Really interesting history of the corvette. And lots of different corvette cars to view. The sink hole collapse exhibit was great. I learned a lot. My guy loved the cars and the gift shop. Don’t skip the diner- food was delicious

Each time I visit the National Corvette Museum I find something new that peaks my interest. From time to time they rearrange or add new cars and displays to view. It is really a wonderful experience and well worth the stop if you are in or passing through the Bowling Green, Kentucky area.

A wonderful place to site see and to catch a meal and to dream about owning a Corvette (maybe even purchase one.)

Well, the museum was ok. It had a bunch of cars to get close to, but it didn't have much in the way of roving docents to ask questions to. I really thought I would learn more about Corvette than I did.

My bigger problem was the plant tour. There's a website that looks official saying you can go in the plant tours by going straight to the factory. Apparently that's not quite true. When you get to the factory you can pay for a tour but it also includes the museum. I had already paid and seen the museum so I didn't want to pay again. It's $50 which to me at least was too much for what was effectively just the plant tour.

It's crazy to me that gm has outsourced the factory tour to the museum, but that seems to be what's happened.

So for you, number one lesson, don't pay a 3rd pay for your museum tickets. There's no reason to. Just buy from the museum and decide if the extra for the factory for is worth it to you or not.

Great museum for car people. The 70 year history of the Corvette is extensive, and you can learn all of it there. Special displays are there occasionally, add ing to the interest. As a Corvette owner I found out about things I didn't know before, so there's an educational aspect for everyone. Gift shop, and restaurant, add an all inclusive air to the experience. Plan on spending a good part of your day there.
