Great gift shop

Typical tourist gift shop. Nice selection of t-shirts, rocks and souvenier items. On the main road outside of town.

As a child I visited this roadside attraction numerous times and had to stop to revisit. Adorable gift shop for all ages. Educational items to luxury wants, rocks to socks and wind chimes to wind up toys! You must visit the mystery house where water runs up hill and your 7 year old is taller than his parent.

don't fall for the "cave rock" line. these glass chunks are not cave rocks. some owners will try to pass off glass chunks as cave rocks. my daughter bought what she was told was a cave rock. sucker!

A neat little shop with a huge alligator statue out front. They have kinds of little rock sculptures and knick knacks. I went in not expecting to buy anything but walked out with a couple of little items. Only cost a couple bucks. Worth a stop if you're passing through. Go upstairs to see the frightening fossil.

We spent as much time talking to the wonderful people that worked there as we spent looking at all the georgous minerals. I did find a lot that I had to buy ;)

Interesting little shop. Our five year old loved all the different rocks and Big Mo. The gift shop had all your run of the mill touristy gifts. Didn't stop long, but a unique stop on the way to Mammoth Cave.

Went to Big Mike's after reading reviews to check out the Mystery House. Definitely worth the $1 per person. Fun little tour lasts 15 minutes maybe. Staff was funny, your usual souvenirs from the area were available. Prices reasonable. My husband and I got a kick out of the mystery house as well as the kids- ages 4, 6, 7,... More
