Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'd read about this area on several travel blogs and sites. I was excited to try it, as the descriptions made it sound like a great place to visit. It really just about 3 blocks of bars and places to eat with a small walkway/boulevard area with some flowers and benches. There was a live band playing when I was there, but it was country music, so I didn't want to stick around for that. There just wasn't really much to do other than drink, and none of the food places really grabbed our attention, so we decided to cross back over to the Cincy side.

we (my dog and i) chose a little airbnb set on the middle of this historic area. i can’t say there is lots to do, but certainly a nice place for a walk (to admire the architecture) and a meal. if you’re visiting cinci, it’s worth a visit. i’m a senior, it’s mostly young people around here, but i felt very safe.

My wife and I stayed at a hotel on the corner of Madison and 7th St, so a short walk to MainStrasse. It was a chilly evening with temperatures in the teens. The Goose Girl Fountain was not lit up, but could see some of it in the dark. Goebel Park was nice - even at night and in the cold, the clock tower was impressive. The main 'gripe' with the walk is that business owners along Main Street do a very poor job shoveling their sidewalk. My wife fell on ice on the 600 block of main street, injuring her elbow and back.

Nice experience of historic buildings and great food. Went to Straße Haus and the place offers food after 4 PM. Street is LGBTQ friendly and is currently showing support for Ukraine.

Great place for a basic lunch. small quaint place, 1 page menu. Everything I've had has been good. I eat at the bar and the service has always been good. I've felt welcome there from the 1st visit even though it seems to be a locals bar. The burgers are good, I like the Strasse Burger. Have had some of the daily specials and always pleased

We love MainStrasse Village! It's a great polace to visit when in the area. You've got these really unique shoppes, and a dozen friendly bars & restaurants that range from incredible fine dining and live jazz at Dee Felice to the best Fish n Chips I have ever tasted at Cock & Bull English Pub. The Pub also has 18 imports on tap for the true beer lover!! Don't miss there great festivals either!!!! Mardi Gras is a hoot and the Maifest and Oktoberfest are over 200,000 attendees. All in a neighborhood, cozy atmosphere. You'll feel lkike you actually visited this town by visiting MainStrasse versus the corporate "megamall" places.

My Family and I were along the river side in downtown Cincinnati. I had researched cool parks around the area and found this clock tower. We crossed the bridge on foot and walked to the park. Granted it was quiet a distance to walk we were excited to see all the tower had to offer. When we arrived, the area was very sketchy. The park was run down and even had several homeless people on benches and under the pavilion. It looked as if a drug deal was happening. It was a few minutes before the hour so we stayed despite the uncomfortable situation because we had walked so far. The clock was not even running and never chimed or had a puppet show. We were very disappointed. We made our way back through the German community which was very lovely with a few cool looking shops.I would never recommend anyone travel to this park!!

Plenty of parking, lots of very different mid priced restaurants. A few arty shops. The old brick buildings are beautiful. It's a gem, worth exploring.

While staying the night in Covington, decided to take the shuttle down to MainStrasse Village for their Mardi Gras parade and celebration. While there were plenty of places to get food or an adult beverage, the parade was also very family friendly. Families with children were having fun as well as just adults. Look forward to attending other events at the Village!
