There are interesting panels on the walls about the history of Fort Assiniboine. Many of the items on display are "this was my grandma's jewelry" or "these were my grandma's teaspoons brought over from the old country." There is the usual fur trader's store but...More

For a small community the Fort Assiniboine Museum is full of history and the staff are quite knowledgeable. Well worth the stop.

Well worth the drive, Well preserved history of the area and the Klondike Trail. Scenic drive to the location as well.
