7 of us waited till 11 am on a Monday and left after no one opened up nor took calls. May have been an emergency but gee, we were all on vacation and drove a far piece.

We found this cave by searching on the internet and decided to head over to cub run after taking the Historic Tour at Mammoth Cave an hour before. The drive from Mammoth was about 40 minutes, some of the time through Amish Country. We got to the office there a little early and there was no one there (note on... More

We had a good and memorable time on this conversational 75 minute cave tour. Children from age 4 to 9 enjoyed the easy walk.

This cave has awesome formations, many I've never seen. Having been to many caves in this area, including Mammoth Cave, this is the best one! It is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip if you want to see a great variety of cave formations. The tour is about 1.5 hours and an easy walk with only... More

This was the cave we took Canadian guests to see on July 16th. It was a hit. The formations are beautiful and the tour guide was very good. The cave was a cool 57 degrees and our friends wanted to stay in the cool! (It was 92° outside and humid) The visit was something we enjoyed too, it is not... More

My daughter and I were planning a trip to Mammoth and I was less then impressed with the tour offerings. I found this cave thru the Bowling Green website. To say it is amazing is a major understatement. Tours are done at 10:30, 12;30, 2:30 and 4:30 Wednesday thru Sunday. They start in the gift shop, but you drive your... More

We just did the Cub Run Cave tour this past Saturday. Did the 2pm tour which is great when it is 90 degrees outside, because the cave was as cool 60 degrees. The walking path is all wooden sidewalks. It is a very EASY 1 mile hike but you get to see so many amazing formations. Even got to put... More

After 3 days of Mammoth Cave we were ready for something different. Cub Run Cave is way out in the middle of nowhere and when we got there the ticket office was empty as they only offer 4 tours a day. Promptly at 3, a guy by the name of Blake showed up and took us on the one mile... More

If you like caves with loads of cave features, stalagmites and stalactites, columns, flowstones, bacon, and every thing inbetween at every turn, with as few as two or three people with the guide, easy walking, this is by far the place. A little off the beaten path, but by far the best cave I've been in. Amazing. Still an active... More
